Mount conversions to GoTo WiFi OnStepX
Equatorial mounts such as the Exos2, EQ5 or EQ3 are available on the market without motorized RA/DEC drives. These are mechanically sound devices which, with relatively little effort, can be converted into fully electronically controlled mounts featuring GoTo functionality and wireless control.
We offer mount conversion services based on our own controller board design using the OnStepX platform.
The board is built around an ESP32 microcontroller and TMC2209 stepper motor drivers. Thanks to the ESP32, the controller supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. It can be controlled from a PC, ZWO ASIAir devices, or other astrophotography modules using the ASCOM interface. Configuration is performed through the controller’s built-in web server (simply connect to the controller via Wi-Fi and open the dedicated configuration webpage).
The use of TMC2209 drivers ensures very smooth and quiet operation of the mount drive motors. Up to 256 microsteps can be configured, allowing high-resolution mount control.
The board is designed to support both OnStep and OnStepX firmware. This provides a highly flexible solution that can be adapted to individual requirements. The offered board is supplied with OnStepX firmware pre-installed, together with the web plugin.

The conversion also includes installation of two NEMA17 stepper motors, timing pulleys, and GT2 belts.
Price for a complete conversion for typical mounts (Exos2, EQ3, and similar mounts in this class): PLN 850, the price includes 23% VAT and an invoice/receipt.
